Methenamine can cause a decrease in the absorption of Sulfamethoxazole resulting in a reduced serum concentration and potentially a decrease in efficacy.

Drug1 is resolved to methenamine, Drug2 is resolved to sulfamethoxazole and interaction asserted in DrugBank between Methenamine and Sulfamethoxazole.
